Revving up to The Coastie Summer Edition #2

Last summer (2012/13), we published our first Summer Edition to cover the holiday period, giving both locals and visitors something nice with plenty of info on things to do along the Tutukaka Coast while giving local businesses, artists and trades people an attractive and well received advertising platform to reach holiday makers during the busy summer months.

Our efforts had been so well received in fact, that we had to keep expanding the scope of The Coastie to nearly three times the size we had initially hoped to produce.

So now we embrace the challenge to repeat a good thing while attempting to improve the value of our small local publication for all involved.
Interest has been significant in anticipation to this year's production already, which is very encouraging for us.

Bigger print run & wider reach

This time, we are aiming to build even more of a bridge between the Tutukaka Coast and Whangarei City, since coast and town seem inextricably linked, both offering their specialties to locals and holidaying visitors alike.

So we are planning to print more copies than last year and to distribute these in a few more important locations in and around Whangarei, doing our bit to help divert unsuspecting travelers from roaring north on highway 1 and discover the virtues of our beautiful Tutukaka Coast.

With the help of our local businesses we are hoping to again create what some people have been referring to as a "keeper". Being able to show off some of our coastal treasure makes it all worthwhile to us.

All inquiries are welcome, both for advertising or content suggestions and requests. Email is preferred as we are still doing this part time, but phone is great if you need to talk something over with us. Please see here contact details.
